The Foxbury kitchen aims to meet and fulfil
today’s convenience needs without using any preservatives,
additives or colourings. All our meals are made in small batches,
just like mum use to make! This produces a home-cooked meal full
of flavour, that can be put in the oven or microwave without the
need of the usual excess packaging.
The Foxbury Fast Feast Ready Made Meal range all use Foxbury meat
and locally grown English vegetables with fresh herbs. This in itself
offers a unique meal. The range includes the traditional meals like
Sausage, Mash and Onion Gravy, Cottage Pie and Lasagne. The range
also includes Pork, Apple & Cider, Chicken Curry and Moroccan
Lamb Casserole to name but a few. We offer a vegetarian range which
includes dishes such as Vegetarian Curry and Vegetarian Crumble.
At Foxbury we try to make your life easier when it comes to cooking
so the kitchen also makes cauliflower cheese and mashed potato to
accompany a meal be it one of our dishes or one you have cooked
yourself.
A selection of puff pastry pies are also prepared in our kitchen
from Steak and Kidney to Chicken, Leek and Mushroom.
All Foxbury pork pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, lamb and beef
pasties, quiches, fruit pies, treacle tarts and range of hot puddings
are also home-cooked in our kitchen. Two popular meals are Sticky
Toffee and Chocolate Pudding, naughty but very nice! Many of our
meals have won Gold awards for their high quality.
Throughout the year the menu will change depending on what vegetables
are in season and what dishes are requested. For example at Christmas
the kitchen produces all the mince pies sold through the Farm Shop
as well as buffet sausage rolls, cheese straws and mincemeat tarts.
